I have tried to have the family Star Wars movie marathon for years. Its my profound belief- as it is with all males on this planet- that if the female in your life would only view Star Wars: A NEW HOPE once, they would become an instant fan. Alas, it has never happened! BUT- my kids will never see a dime of their inheritance unless they watch it- my Will says so! HA, who wins then young Jedi?

I was raised on star wars (thank you dad!) he got my brother and I involved
LOL I didn’t see star wars until I was in my teens, but I loved it when I did see it.
If it’s any consolation, Tom, I took my daughter to the re-issues of Star Wars–the ones Lucas “tweaked”–and she complained the movie was boring. She also laughed through “Saturday Night Fever”(said the fashions were hilarious) and thought “Billy Jack” was dorky.
True very true
Love it!
That’s funny stuff. My wife is the one that is outnumbered in our family…we have three males… 1 wookie, and two ewoks. Actually the two little ones are cute as ewoks, but tough as Sand People.
I guess girls don’t watch Star Wars. Right.
While many girls DO like Star Wars, not all of them do. Every family has its own level of geekery, some more than others. 🙂
I love the wife’s expression of horror when the daughter asks who Darth Vader is!
Tom… God has blessed me with Pam… my sife who exemplifies the song ” when God made her he must have been thinking about me”. I know this because in all my dreams i could never imagine a woman who would sit with me a watch 4 episodes of Smallville in one sitting and want more. We have now made it through the first 7 seasons on DVD and I just had to scramble to Ebay to pick up Seasons 8, 9 and 10 for our further entertainment. Of course, it is more her than me who goes bonkers at the end of a cliff hanger and we don’t have the next season to answer the questions…. yikes! warning… frustrated housewife… warning!!
We are anticipating the Man of Steel movie now…. it’s all the talk here at home…. what ever happened to Steel Magnolias and Fried Green Tomatoes?
You’re a lucky man, Dee. I’m closer to Mark in the strip with my family of women. I must admit, most of the time, I like the differences in us, though!
Hello Tom, I just start reading your comic, 🙂 I love it.
Hugs. Fran
Hey Fran! Thanks for stopping by and checking it out. How is your comic going?
Absolutely Tom, I love to what you in the interview at schoolisim, and for sure i will keep you track all weeks for more outnumbered.
About Egregori, number one is finally done, and I have to worked some stuff in the scrip before start releasing number two, I will definitely keep u posted :). Hugs
This one hits home. My wife doesn’t understand any of my geek-like tendencies, but God bless her she tries!
In my family I’ll be the one teaching everything about Star Wars! They will have no choice! 😛
I grew up with Star Wars, fortunately I married a guy who compites with me in geekness.
ahhh..so sad im just starting to see this…i need to catch up..great one mr Tom
