Hey Outnumbered fans. I hate to say this but after 140 Outnumbered strips and never missing a week’s posting, I’m taking a hiatus. I love Outnumbered (and YOU that follow it) and its been a labor of love for me to create it every week. I have just gotten to the point where I’ve over committed on other work and travel (and they pay, so they get first priority) and I need to have some free time for my family also. So, for at least the next few months of this summer, I’m taking a break. I hate doing it and it was a super hard decision. I WILL make an OUTNUMBERED book someday soon. That was a mini goal of mine from the start and I think I have enough strips (plus sketches and maybe some new ones I can create just for that book) to pull it off. We never regret decisions that put family time first, as you know. Although we all love the “Outnumbered” family, it would be tragic to spend your summer slaving away at the expense of the Bancroft family. Kudos for your excellent decision! Please know you’ll have an eager audience when you get back to it. Blessings!
