Okay, how about that title today? I’m kind of proud of that one. I can just see that as a t-shirt. Anyway, I like today’s strip, its rare that I feel like I summed up a gag that is one part “speak the truth” and one part funny and do it in a simple way. Its hard to preach, be funny, and do it in a small amount of words. Well, the internet is good at it, but I’m not.
For those that notice these things, this is my second hand lettered/ballooned strip and you can probably tell I put a bit more work into it. I’m kind of liking it. I do feel like the balloons are more intergrated into the artwork. So, I’m probably gonna keep going with it. That Guy Gilchrist (artist of “Nancy”) will be so happy- he’s been pushing me toward this from the beginning. 🙂
PS> for those that helped out, I wanted you to know, that Kickstarter of my buddies called “Laugh-O-Gram” which was a weekly newspaper of JUST COMIC STRIPS sent to your door- it MADE ITS’ FUNDING GOAL! Wahoo! That also means that OUTNUMBERED will be printed along side Peanuts, Garfield, Zits, Baby Blues, and more! The little kid in me freaks out about thinking about that!
Hmmmm…weird if my mum has had the same thought before…cos sometimes my sisters respond to her just as megan did to her mum.
