This is Shirtgate 3 of 9. Yep, there’s 9 in this series of Melody loosing her new shirt! Surprised? Not if you lived in my household, these things can be a huge drama! This strip was a last minute rewrite and has turned out to be one of my favorites in this story arc! The reason? It really sums up my wife’s (and Melody’s) love/hate feelings toward the girls borrowing her clothes. She secretly LOVES it! It’s like showing your dog a piece of bacon and then not giving it to them. I’ve seen her flaunt a new pair of boots she bought and then is shocked that they disappear the next day. Its insanity that has to be made into a cartoon. You’re welcome.
