This strip was one I couldn’t wait to draw when I wrote the gag. Its also one that may or may not be as funny to you as it is to me. I live this Every. Single. Day. So, that makes it more of a weight off my shoulders to “get it out there” than the average strip, I guess. And its not just weight that I’m talking about, its all the issues of growing older that I could apply to this. The difference between how we look at things when we are young and how we look at them later in life could be a comic strip all by itself. And I guess it is: “Pickles” anyone? My mom loves that strip.
The other thing I wanted to mention is that, hopefully, I’ve picked up some new eyes here on “Outnumbered” because I just spoke (with my brother Tony) at Savannah College of Art and Design the last few days of this week and we had a blast. What a great school! We had a great time and met many really talented students! I URL- dropped this strip, so I hope some of you are SCAD students and reading this.
Lastly, thank you to some of my new supporters on PATREON. Its off to a good start and I’m having a blast doing sketch requests and showing you the rough version of this strip, the day before it comes out! Don’t know what it is? Hit this link and watch my video where I explain it: http://www.patreon.com/tombancroft

“That certainly went well.”
These two Ladies SHOULD Listen to Pharrell Williams Song, “Happy” (Which SHOULD have WON an Academy Award, by the Way) and Carry On with Their Day. IMHO.
You and Tony visited SCAD! AAAH! Figures you would be able to visit now, since I graduated in 2011. There are indeed a lot of talented students there now – I hope you both had a great time in lovely Savannah! 😀
I assume that you did some things withe the animation department – did you get to check out the Sequential Art department at all? I graduated with a major in 2D animation and a minor in Sequential Art, and I’ve learned in the last couple years what good programs they both are.
Sorry we didn’t get to see you Lauren! We had a blast and were really impressed by all the land/buildings/facilities/equipment/instructors and most of all the passion and ability of the students! Just a good art school, which are rare in this world. Not without flaws I’m sure, but it got me to want to draw!
Great strip! I graduated from SCAD back in 2005, so I missed you guys be a loooong shot. Glad you fun in Savannah. I miss that place a lot.
Thanks for the kudos on Outnumbered. We had a great time at SCAD (both of our first time).
