Hey Everyone! I just wanted to say a big “Thank you” to all of you who are coming to this site to see the newest OUTNUMBERED strip every Monday! I’m thank full for each one of you. I wanted to let you know that I will probably be starting a Patreon page for my creative works like Outnumbered. What’s Patreon? Its a new site where a creator can get crowd-funding for the work he/she does regularly. Unlike Kickstarter, which is about backing/supporting a PROJECT, Patreon lets you support a CREATOR and on a monthly basis. Here’s the thing: I create Outnumbered for free. Yet, I pay for this site, the url, the hosting, and my mighty colorist for the strip-and none of that is counting my TIME and effort! All of those things HAVE to happen for this strip to look the way it looks and be there for you to enjoy every Monday. I’m happy to do it and I will continue to do it for FREE , so nothing will change for any of you. BUT, if some of you out there thinks its worth it to you to give me $1 a month (or more) for my effort, I would appreciate it. You will by like the Catholic church was for Michelangelo- a Patron of the Arts. I am thinking about what kinds of “perks” my Patrons will get in addition to helping me get this strip out. Maybe seeing the rough pencils, exclusively, the day before the strip goes up? Even better, if it gets to a certain level of support, I am thinking strongly of starting a SECOND strip. A brand new idea and characters! TWO strips a week from Tom Bancroft? Maybe, lets see how this goes. I will also be your best friend. More to come on that front, soon.
