Eye Roll Recourse

I think we’ve had more eye rolling and “ughs” from our kids this year than ever before!  Of course our twins (unlike the strip) are now 12, so they are in DEEP pre-teendom.  I think that’s when the eye rolling is at its worse- preteens.  The older teens seem to outgrow it and switch to not talking at all as a recourse.  Which is an even more powerful irritant for parents, of course.  Our parents (their grandparents) keep telling us that they’ll come back to us and say ‘thank you’ for all we did for them- and even apologize for what they put us through! – but I think I will be eating tires and talking to dolls in an insane asylum before then.
