This strip started as a gag between my wife and I. We just got a new kitchen counter top and we loved how much the texture hid crumbs and stuff. Our last, cheap counter showed EVERYTHING, so it was nice to have one that you didn’t have to wipe off all the time. Then we I started “leaving” stuff on the countertop (crumbs, water puddles, other food bits) to test how far I could go. Even with my wife’s “anality” (I coin that term lovingly) at full alert, she missed most all of it. Until she touched the surface that is. Busted. Anyway, I think its funny how quickly a sells pitch can go from positive to a negative if you’re not careful.

Ye Cats!
What IS It with Women and These Granite Counter Tops, anyway???
When We bought Our House last year, THAT Was Top Priority for My Wifey.
Well THAT and Double Ovens……,
I think we have the same counters!
I think sales people get on a roll. They get caught up in the moment blinded by the sheen of possible sale and … BAM!
True that! There are pros and cons to countertops and carpet that hide their secrets.
P.S. *My wife and ME. It’s a common mistake, but once you know the difference it can be quite painful when you notice it.
