I love working the twins into the strip, especially when they can point out storypoints or get Mark into trouble! I also went this direction because I didn’t want to have a strip of Melody yelling at Mark. These things happen in families, for sure, but I’m trying to be conscious of making her the “bad guy”. Wives put up with a lot from us husbands and I know that. So, Mark gets something but he’s also going to have to GIVE something (to all the girls). Its only fair, right?
BTW, didn’t Andrew Chandler do a killer job on the coloring of this strip? I think so too. Check out his strip in the link/banner on the right. Good guy.

Tom- Love this strip. I’ve had many experiences similar to Mark, this one in particular. I went ahead and bought the television AND some clothes for my wife because I thought that might lessen her anger. Nope. This was over ten years ago and she still brings it up.

I had something like that happen to me.
Wife went on a business/fun trip to Australia, I paid for all of her fun stuff while I stayed home with our daughter. When she came back and found out I had bought an Ipad, she was LESS than happy.
